Still haven't got the internet so I have to make this quick:

Even though I barely upload anymore I still doodle all over everything.  My characters still live in my head and I still get a huuuuuge kick out of coming online and looking over all the new deviations waiting for me.

Used up our internet downloads for a few months, am dirt poor, am sick as a dog and am in the middle of exams.

Mightn't be able to afford to go home these summer holidays.  Most of my Sydney friends are going overseas too.

Feel very guilty for joining a new guild and then disappearing - sorry everyone at Shukumei!  Also all my love to SGers too (although they know they'll always have it).

Hello lovemuffins!

I'm in desperate need of some education.  

You see, my friends, I have been hired by a specialist gaming store.  Sounds like great fun, doesn't it?  Yeah!  Well the only thing is - I'm not the world's biggest gaming fanatic.  I love to play, of course, and I spend a lot of time doing so but I mainly got the job because they had no female staff and I live around the corner and am not afraid of people.

I'm curious - what to you guys do to shoo the blues away?  I'm trying to move away from my usual "shut myself in my room, turn off my mobile and listen to radiohead/antony & the johnsons/nick cave/bon iver" approach.

Long walks on the beach?
Tea parties in old fashion dresses?
Drinking until you're no longer conscious?

I'm sorry my journals are always so "UGHHHH LIFE SUCKS" as well.  I really don't think life sucks or I wouldn't be here.  It's just difficult when you're homeless, poor, working in a 'gentlemen's club' and your silly friends keep ODing on a fun night out d:

ANYWAY
I've been roped into going to a party this weekend which is themed.  I have to go as 'what I wanted to be when I grew up'.  I really want to go as a unicorn but I have these restraints:
- no car
- no time for massive shopping bender (unless I know where to go)
- I don't want to look like a skank.  I'm trying to get rid of that reputation :/

So far I have:
* Little white dress (skanky, but oh well)
* Shiny black shoes
* Shiny black gloves

Any ideas of how I can attach a tail, horn and ears to my wonderful creation?  OR any other things you can think of that I could easily throw a costume together for?

EDIT:  Or what exactly I could use as a horn? xD
